Reminiscing on Summer...
Winter has dragged on FOREVER this year. Seriously. I'm all for winter, and the dreary weather that comes with it, until it hits New Year. Over the Christmas season, it's nice to wrap up warm and wear lots of wintery layers. Add in the twinkling fairy lights everywhere you go and it's almost possible to imagine that you're in Santa's Grotto, or maybe New York (I hear Christmas in New York is something everyone should experience at least once in their lives). But then January comes and you realise there's no more chance of snow, just dismal rain and chilling wind. And when, like this year, it carries on all the way through February, it's just downright annoying. What's worse is that in my part of England, we're predicted even worse weather for the start of March- something to do with the Arctic, I think. I JUST WANT IT TO BE SUMMER ALREADY! I'm longing for the evenings where it's still light at 8pm, where I can do my homework in the gard...
